She Believed She Could. So She Did.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Inner Circle is proud to stand with the millions that are personally affected by this disease as well as the millions of families, friends and loved ones who are called on to be caretakers and confidants.
As part of raising awareness, we here at Inner Circle have tried to add to the discussion and understanding of how our unique approach to therapy can be of great assistance to people dealing with breast cancer in all phases of treatment, from preventative wellness to post-op rehabilitation.
As part of our article series, we’d like to begin with one from our resident Pelvic Floor and Women’s Health Expert, Jennifer Keeny.
Breast cancer diagnoses often lead to some level of scarring, from lumpectomy and sentinel lymph node biopsies all the way to post mastectomy. Scars are one of the most formidable obstacles during recovery and their magnitude is often not fully understood.
In this article, Jenn will begin to explain how scarring, no matter how minimal, can greatly affect your return to an active, healthy and pain-free lifestyle.
We Stand With You,
