The pelvic floor is susceptible to a wide range of disorders and trauma. These problems can occur for a number of reasons including falls, motor vehicle accidents, childbirth, surgery, radiation disease processes, inactivity and habitual posture and movement patterns, to name a few. These stresses lead to weakness, restrictions and adhesions within the pelvic floor.
Inner Circle’s Pelvic Health Center is designed to treat those suffering from pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD). PFD is a general term for a great many conditions that involve the muscles, joints, nerves and connective tissue of the pelvis.
